[00:00:37] Seth Hicks Esq.: Hello, and welcome to the Private Banking Strategies podcast with Vance Lowe and Seth Hicks.

[00:00:42] Seth Hicks Esq.: Vance, how are you today?

[00:00:44] Vance Lowe: Doing great.

[00:00:45] Seth Hicks Esq.: I’m excited about a topic that we’ve talked about, and it bears repetition over and over. And the title of our podcast today and discussion is, Who Gets Your Next Car Payment? And things that we have noticed is that people will spend years [00:01:00] making car payments and without thinking twice about it.

[00:01:02] Seth Hicks Esq.: They’re conditioned to write those checks and pay the bill on time. But when it comes to building their own bank and turning that equation on its head and getting people to think about how to be the financing entity, how to be their own bank, a lot of times we’ll hear, “Where would I find the money?”

[00:01:21] Vance Lowe: That’s an interesting question. So that’s one of the first things we address with new people coming into the banking concept. They’ve seen and grasped a little bit of a picture of what the potential is for them when we do the test drive for them. But the full meaning takes a little bit of time and understanding.

[00:01:39] Vance Lowe: And cars are probably the very best thing to learn on because everybody drives, and we get people’s attention because of we ask, “Do you have a car payment?” We ask, “Yeah, I have a car payment,” or, “No, I don’t have a car payment.” And one of the… I think there’s three questions. Am I too young? Am I too old? [00:02:00] Where do I find the money?

[00:02:01] Vance Lowe: I get that all the time, and that’s one of the things we identify right up front. When people tell us they don’t have a car payment, we smile and say, “That was a tr- trick question. You are driving your vehicle, and that vehicle is wearing out.” And thus comes the title of this, this whole thing is, who’s gonna get the next payment?

[00:02:22] Vance Lowe: Are you saving up to pay cash for the next car, or are you going to finance it? So those three are all things that we have to deal with in trying to set up a strategy that will fit the current situation of a client and fit all of those needs so that they can go forward.

[00:02:44] Seth Hicks Esq.: It, it’s when we start beginning to challenge people to take the banking equation back into their hands and to consider the family banking strategies, the private banking strategies.[00:03:00]

[00:03:00] Seth Hicks Esq.: A lot of times people have been so indoctrinated from branch banking in the last 70 or 80 years of our culture to think that’s not even possible. It’s like when the zookeepers place a chain around an elephant’s ankle when it’s small and it doesn’t have the strength to break out of that, and then when it’s older, they put the same chain that the elephant could easily break, but it doesn’t try because it’s been conditioned to think this is the way it is.

[00:03:26] Seth Hicks Esq.: People have been conditioned to think that branch banking and centralized banking is just the way it is, where there couldn’t be anything further from the truth. So as soon as we can get the light bulb to come on and people to consider private banking strategies for their family bank, their family legacy, they need to find the money, and the money is most generally in payments they’re already making and expenses they’ve already got.

[00:03:53] Seth Hicks Esq.: Sometimes they’ve got assets asleep. Sometimes they’ve got things that could easily be converted [00:04:00] into a, uh- cornerstone for their banking and their financing of their banking, capitalization of their banking, that pays them literal hundreds of thousands of dollars over the course of a lifetime from small little changes

[00:04:16] Vance Lowe: Seth, I’ve always thought it amazing, and it’s exactly like you said, we’re preconditioned.

[00:04:22] Vance Lowe: Like a big bull who has a nose ring. You pull on that nose ring, it hurts. But they get so conditioned, you can lead a bull around wherever you want. Little children can with a string tied to that nose ring. They know that if it, they back up or they do something wrong, that’s gonna pull and it’s gonna hurt.

[00:04:41] Vance Lowe: With financing and with cars and with everything else, people don’t understand what they actually have in front of them. So we wake that up. We show them, “Okay, look, you’ve got these payments. You’re trying to do this, and what’s the goal?” A lot of people say, “I don’t… None of my assets are asleep.” And we contradict that, [00:05:00] or we take the opposite view and say, every single one of your assets is asleep.

[00:05:05] Vance Lowe: It’s working for someone else because someone else has the money, not you. And so what if we woke that money up? What if we woke it up and we started taking control of the debt? What if we became the bank? What if we put this banking equation in your life? What would it look like? And so we set that up for a client and show them what their numbers, what their…

[00:05:25] Vance Lowe: Even without growth, just by getting the money back, just by reusing the same dollars in their own situation, what that would compile to over a 96-month period of time. And everybody’s sat back and they get angry, they get sad and say, “Why didn’t I know this? Why didn’t I understand this? Why haven’t I been doing this?”

[00:05:46] Vance Lowe: So the cars are probably the very best way to understand it. And Seth, I’ve got a, a little story to give if I, if you don’t mind, about car financing. When I first started [00:06:00] banking, Nelson Nash showed me an idea and a plan. I came up with a regular cost for me For a vehicle. And I figured that it would cost me five hundred dollars a month, no matter what type of cars I bought or whatever, I would always contribute five hundred dollars per car per month.

[00:06:20] Vance Lowe: And I came up with that plan. He liked that, and he turned around and said, “You know what? How much money have you spent on cars in your entire lifetime?” Well, I’m older, but this was still more than twenty years ago when I answered that question, and I had more than a half a million dollars in paid-for cars that I had put my own money into.

[00:06:40] Vance Lowe: And he said, “Why don’t you do the banking as an incentive to get that money back?” And that’s exactly what I did. I show people exactly step by step how to do that. I had two cars at the time that were financed through Bank of America, and when they got down, the payoff got down to ten thousand [00:07:00] dollars, I purchased the loan from my now new private bank, but I kept the same payment.

[00:07:07] Vance Lowe: So I think my interest rate was twelve percent. I charged myself the payment was five hundred dollars, but I only had to come up with ten thousand dollars to buy that debt. That’s one of the most ideal situations you can find. Five hundred dollars a month when I have ten thousand dollars out working for me, that’s a sixty percent volume rate of return annually.

[00:07:29] Vance Lowe: Five hundred times twelve is six thousand. What do I do with that six thousand dollars? So we start up a family bank, and we start getting the kids interested. “Hey, why don’t you let the family bank purchase your existing car loan?” And at first, they’re kinda concerned. “What are you gonna charge in interest?”

[00:07:47] Vance Lowe: And that’s something we probably ought to get into a little later, but no, we’re just going to buy the loan. It’s not gonna affect you at all. Your payoff is still gonna be the same, but the family bank will make the profit, will make that [00:08:00] interest, and will incentivize you for doing it with the family bank, with ownership in the family bank.

[00:08:06] Vance Lowe: That has worked very well in our family. All of a sudden, they see their payment, instead of going totally to someone else, it’s coming back into the family bank, and then they get turned around. “Can we use that money to finance the next car?” So that has been very, very successful. By the way, I can sit here in front of you and tell you guys that by taking the six thousand dollars per vehicle, so, you know, it’s actually twelve thousand dollars each year, and buying more debt with that, it took me ten years to purchase all or get back all the money I had ever paid on vehicles.

[00:08:44] Vance Lowe: I’ll line item that out for you if you want, but it works. It just blew me away. It just was a testament to me how wonderful and exciting banking really is if you understand the flow of money.

[00:08:56] Seth Hicks Esq.: What do you think changed in children, your [00:09:00] children’s understanding when they began to see other opportunities for family banking?

[00:09:05] Vance Lowe: They finance everything. They got mortgages and dad doesn’t have a mortgage, or dad says he has a mortgage, but he’s paying it to his own company. They can’t relate to that. So you have to take them step by step. You have to learn it first. You have to really understand what you’re doing and where you’re going.

[00:09:22] Vance Lowe: But again, cars were the very best thing. I did have a couple of finance issues on some medical things. What they discovered was that the money didn’t disappear. ‘Cause I told them, “Whenever you use the family bank, you not only will get a percentage of the ownership of the family bank, but the money that you’re paying in will be set aside for you to reuse.”

[00:09:44] Vance Lowe: It took them a full loan all the way through to understand, hey, that money’s back in the account now.

[00:09:51] Seth Hicks Esq.: One of the issues that people need to understand with every car payment in this scenario, your dry powder, your [00:10:00] cash value, and ability to go out and put that money to work is immediately available in a dollar for dollar basis.

[00:10:08] Vance Lowe: Exactly. And, but it takes them a little while for them to learn that, but dollars are back in hand. I used the money to purchase the loan, but now the dollar’s back in hand. I’ve got it now. It’s freed up. It’s not tied up someplace else, and it’s my job to put it to work again. You discover that, folks, that volume just continues, and it’s an exponential compounding effect.

[00:10:28] Seth Hicks Esq.: And that’s looking at the side of the coin from the purely banking equation. We’re not even analyzing the fact that the life insurance contract has so many valuable contractual rights and guaranteed legal structures, from total asset protection in certain states to tax-free growth, the dividends.

[00:10:50] Vance Lowe: It is, and it’s two separate things, two separate worlds also.

[00:10:54] Vance Lowe: The banking is so powerful to be able to reuse money over and over again. But then when you [00:11:00] combine that with these banking contracts, there’s… Nothing touches it. It’s the most perfect investment on the planet. It always has been. It probably always will be.

[00:11:10] Midroll: Did that story feel like it was about you? Do you feel like you are generating a lot of revenue, but are not moving forward as fast as you would like?

[00:11:20] Midroll: Do you feel you should be making more progress toward your financial goals? Do you feel stuck? Let us help you get unstuck. Are you ready to take action and get your own private bank? Please visit us at www.privatebankingstrategies.com.

[00:11:41] Vance Lowe: We’ve already gone into detail on what these contracts, how they’re made up, all of the individual benefits.

[00:11:46] Vance Lowe: So if you haven’t done that, you probably ought to look up those podcasts that we’ve got on that. But my kids, I couldn’t get them to understand right at the beginning, interest. We’re taught when we finance something that [00:12:00] our job to get the very best rate we possibly can. In other words, get the very best interest possible.

[00:12:06] Vance Lowe: So our whole focus, not only with mortgages or any type of loan, is the interest rate, and it takes us away from what’s important, which is volume. The volume of interest we would pay, the volume that we are losing. And when we become the banker, all of a sudden we see that volume. If I buy that car loan, and I buy it in the last half of the timeframe, and let’s say I have to come up with $10,000, they may have a loan interest rate.

[00:12:35] Vance Lowe: You know, these promotional things they trick people into, “Oh, you only have 2% loan or a 4% loan,” and they buy that. When you’re in the back half of that and you purchase that, your return on the balance is always in the double digits. Always. Right. So that’s something that they discover also. “Gee, if I’m paying 4% and dad’s getting 12%, how does that [00:13:00] work?

[00:13:00] Vance Lowe: I don’t change anything and my timeframe’s not changing. I still only have two and a half years left, and I’m done.” So that’s a, it’s a great discovery. It’s like sitting in this dark tunnel and all you can do now is just the light bulbs come on. You’re walking out in the light.

[00:13:14] Seth Hicks Esq.: Yeah. When you can begin to understand that it’s not about the, the payment, it’s not about the interest rate, it’s not about squashing those things down, there’s a big difference in banking.

[00:13:27] Seth Hicks Esq.: So discuss a little bit, Vance, if you would, about the difference between, let’s say, owning the car at the end of your payment term or operating the bank that’s collecting the payments.

[00:13:38] Vance Lowe: I always ask people, “If you had the choice, would you rather want your money going to your bank or continue it to go to someone else’s bank?”

[00:13:47] Vance Lowe: Well, I always say my bank. Let me talk about cars here, ownership for a minute. You now have a car, you’ve got it paid off or so to speak. Is that an asset? I don’t know. Are you making it an [00:14:00] asset? Now that car can go to work for you. When we, we get people to understand who’s that person in the mirror, that we should always be paying money in, in for cars ’cause they’re wearing out.

[00:14:13] Vance Lowe: The banks always get the money back. They have the money, they lend it out, and the payments come back in. If we’re gonna be the bank, we have to do the same thing, especially if we used other money. If we dug into a savings account or a stock account or something like that, borrowed money and paid the vehicle off, we’re the bank now.

[00:14:31] Vance Lowe: And so payments have to come in so that that money comes back in our control along with interest. So we’re far better off by doing that. Now we have the car, now we have the money back, and it grew exponentially, and we can do that over and over again and be that much better off. So owning a car, fine, that car’s wearing out.

[00:14:52] Vance Lowe: You have to do something. You’re gonna either refinance it through your savings or someone else paying interest. But when you [00:15:00] operate the financial background, if you’re funding that money, if you have the opportunity to do that, you get the best of all worlds. And here’s another thing. As long as we owe, let’s say, Honda Finance or GMAC or something, payments, or even Bank of America or something, and I’ve got a $500 payment coming due and I can’t make that payment, what’s my bank gonna say?

[00:15:23] Vance Lowe: Oh, they’re gonna charge me penalties, aren’t they? A late payment fee, number one, okay? And if they don’t think that there’s a ghost of a chance, like if I lost my job or something like that, they could easily repossess that vehicle in a heartbeat. When you control your own financing, you can adjust that according to your circumstances, you know, your situation.

[00:15:45] Vance Lowe: You don’t wanna steal from yourself, but it’s your loan, and it’s easy to redo, where none of the financial institutions that I know of today would work with you. Say, “Oh, okay, we understand that. Do you wanna [00:16:00] refinance your loan? Would you like to postpone the payment for a few months?” Blah, blah, blah. No.

[00:16:05] Seth Hicks Esq.: You’re describing capturing cash flow and the stream of cash flow payments, and you’ve described this and taught this in other ways. One way that you’ve done so is using a $10,000 amount out on loan With cash flow payments of $500 a month and a 60% volume rate of return. And so it’s the same concept.

[00:16:29] Seth Hicks Esq.: And folks, this is a good place for if this is the first time you’ve heard this content and you’re hearing little nuggets that you wanna search further, go to our website at privatebankingstrategies.com. And we have an AI tool there on our website that’s completely free for you right now, and you can search various terms or things that we’re describing here and get really detailed outlines of the content that we’ve produced on those subjects.

[00:16:56] Seth Hicks Esq.: It’s a phenomenal tool that you should check out, [00:17:00] privatebankingstrategies.com. It’s the AI tool. But let’s ask a question real quick, Vance. Okay. We’re talking about cars because everybody buys cars. We’re talking about something that people can understand in the mental application of private banking strategies.

[00:17:16] Seth Hicks Esq.: But should you be applying private banking strategies to other ordinary purchases?

[00:17:22] Vance Lowe: Oh, yes. The thing you have to understand is you have to put your money to work. All money coming in under your control needs to be put to work. You’re doing that because you have automatic deposits, but it’s in someone else’s bank, and they automatically put it to work, not you.

[00:17:41] Vance Lowe: So every dollar that comes in, they multiply that by a factor, and they lend out a lot of money and put it to work. And again, we go into detail on factoring, so you can look that up in our podcast. But what if we took 100% of our money, put it in our bank, and before we moved it into our personal [00:18:00] checking account, what if we borrowed the money to live on from our bank and put it into our personal checking account?

[00:18:08] Vance Lowe: People just throw their hands up in the air and say, “Why on earth would I do that? Why would I charge myself interest?” Because you weren’t taught how money works. You think money does something else, and you end up giving it away, and having and being forced to go back to work just to replace the dollars you’re gonna spend again.

[00:18:28] Vance Lowe: We’re showing you how to be free, how to have financial freedom. So listen up. There’s a better way, there’s an easier way so that you don’t have to re-duplicate everything all the time. If I borrowed what I need, I should still have some extra, okay? If I’m living good money principles, I’m not spending every dime I’m bringing home.

[00:18:50] Vance Lowe: If you are, you’re overspending, guys, and those are the people who have a lot of credit card debt, a lot of debt because of the emergencies. And [00:19:00] anyway, by doing that and living off of what they think they need, I put everything on a credit card so I know how much I need to borrow out. All my payments are pretty much on credit card.

[00:19:11] Vance Lowe: My other payments and things like that to my bank are all borrowed out and put in the checking account, and then I make the payments. The nice thing that I enjoy, 70% of the payments go back, right straight back into my bank. I’m at making payments back into my bank. The things like utilities, food, clothing, gas, I don’t own those yet.

[00:19:33] Vance Lowe: So there are some things that go. So by the end of the month, all that money in that little checking account, my personal checking account, is gone. How am I gonna pay that money back? That’s the big question that everybody has. They’re starting to figure that out. I’m going to work every day, and a new paycheck is gonna come in, and it’s gonna come into that clearing account, that, uh, lending company’s account, and it’ll clear that loan off, or most of it.

[00:19:57] Vance Lowe: Do I care if I’m underwater a little bit? [00:20:00] No, as long as I know I’m gonna get back above water.

[00:20:02] Seth Hicks Esq.: That’s a, a great way to illustrate that the car eventually wears out. But the banking strategies we’re describing, it teaches a man how to fish, and not just a man, but legacies. We’re trying to create a banking mentality for folks.

[00:20:19] Vance Lowe: See, what’s important, folks, and we were never taught this, how much better are we off this month than we were last month? Just what I described to you, just by putting money to work in the bank and only borrowing out what you need, paying that off with new income coming in with interest can tell you how much you’re better off.

[00:20:38] Vance Lowe: The average American today, more than 85% of the people, that’s probably higher than 90% today, are not better off by five cents per month. All of our clients, no matter where they’re at, are better off by dollars, several dollars per month. It goes to $10. It goes to $100. And pretty soon, when you’re [00:21:00] aged into this and you’re, you really understand, and you’ve got time under your belt, it’s thousands Dollars per month that you’re getting that much better off.

[00:21:10] Vance Lowe: One generation produces pretty much all the private banking funds needed to sustain an extended family, including the mortgages.

[00:21:20] Seth Hicks Esq.: It’s a revolutionary banking to us because we were so indoctrinated with the wrong mindsets. But folks, we would love to continue our conversation with you guys on our website and use our AI tool, which is fully free to you, as I mentioned.

[00:21:36] Seth Hicks Esq.: You can ask it any question you want. You can dive into your specifics and it will pull together content. It’d be like talking with Vance and I personally and digging into your particular family dynamics. If that is resonating with you, schedule an exploratory call with Vance. Put your name and email on our website.

[00:21:56] Seth Hicks Esq.: We’ll give you a book that Vance and I authored called What the [00:22:00] Banks Don’t Want You to Know, Secrets the Banks Don’t Want You to Know That Develop Your Wealth. And that book comes to you in an audio or written form, but more importantly, you’re gonna get an invitation to schedule exploratory call with Vance.

[00:22:12] Seth Hicks Esq.: And so we look forward to helping you and going on this journey with you, teaching you about private banking strategies. And Vance, any closing comments today?

[00:22:21] Vance Lowe: No, I’d just invite everyone to take the opportunity, look over where they’re at. If they’re not happy, if they’re not satisfied with their current situation that they thought they would be in 10 years ago, what’s gonna change over the next 10 years unless you make a change?

[00:22:37] Vance Lowe: Make that change early today. Find out what you don’t know about money. Make those changes and make money start working for you. Doesn’t take any more effort. Take us up on the test drive. Let us show you with your own numbers where you could be before you make any decision or expense whatsoever.

[00:22:56] Seth Hicks Esq.: You don’t have to work any harder or get another job, just [00:23:00] have to change who’s getting the money.

[00:23:02] Vance Lowe: Yep.

[00:23:03] Seth Hicks Esq.: Thanks, folks, for joining us. We look forward to seeing you on the next one.

[00:23:06] Vance Lowe: Bye for now. Have a good day.

[00:23:08] Outro: Did that story feel like it was about you? Do you feel you should be making more progress toward your financial goals? Do you feel stuck? Let us help you get unstuck. Are you ready to take action and get your own private bank?
